It may seem odd to talk about burnout and success in the same conversation, but actually they go hand-in-hand. Let's talk about the real and simple tasks the most successful people are doing everyday. Let's define 6 steps to overcome burnout when you experience it. Everyone experiences burnout at some point, but the question is, "Are you ready for success after burnout?"

What do we talk about:

  • Successful people...
    • Are willing to do the things others aren't.
    • Ask the dumb questions.
    • Learn, always.
    • Don't stay in the same department or role.
    • Say "NO" often. People respect people who respect themselves.
    • Communicate what they're doing, how it impacts others, and don't gossip.
    • Keep moving. One step at a time.
    • Know the fastest way down the ladder is gossip and drama, no seriously.
  • Burnt-out? Do these 6 things:
    • 1. Unplug.
    • 2. Get a mentor (someone opposite of you in every way)
    • . Update your resume, be proud of yourself 
    • 4. Write down your 10 year old and take ONE step towards sampling that life.
    • Arrive on time, leave on time - everytime.
    • Set firm boundaires.
