Ep 23: Bad Day? You have 2 options.

I ran out of excuses on why I couldn't do it. Looking back, it was hard. But my only option was to see the good in something awful.

What do we talk about:

  • The pain becomes worth it when you reach your peak. Have you reached your peak yet? Are you in your valley?
    • Page 55 in my book can change the way you think about navigating change in your life
  • You have 2 options when you go through something awful:
    • 1. Live in the bad and let negativity win - stoop down to the level of those you don't wish to be,
      2. Focus on the good, one step in the right direction, and don't let one bad down cloud the 100 good days.
  • I've been through awful situations, but speaking positively about them changed my life. (It's hard. So hard. Not going to sugar coat the pain!)
  • Focus on what you can control. Focus on resolutions.
  • There is light is every situation, good and bad.
  • Process your emotions, wear them proudly, and then move forward with the right next step.
  • Effort attempt and effort matters. Your hard work WILL pay off, but you have to keep moving.
  • The only mistake you could make it stopping.
  • One day cannot define you.
